I’m from a small town in northern Illinois, where I cultivated a passion for fantastical worlds beyond cornfields. I’ve had a love for stories and storytelling since childhood. There’s just something about a mysterious and magical world–any chance to see magic, dragons, or sword fights.

I’m happily married with three amazing kids. One day, I hope my kids will be able to enjoy the stories and world I have created for them. I have a degree in journalism from Eastern Illinois University and work in marketing and advertising in the building material supply industry when I’m not writing.
